Gaafu Alifu is one of the world’s most remote and pristine atolls, found at the southernmost reach of The Maldives. Its far-flung Indian Ocean position and exquisite natural beauty make it the ultimate escape and it is here you will find the luxurious Raffles Maldives Meradhoo.
A stay here is an experience of profound luxury rivalled only by the purity and peace of this incredible location. Guest normally fly into Kaadedhdhoo Island and board a private speedboat to the property. On arrival, they are welcomed by the staff with a glass of champagne, setting the tone to the stay.
The Resort

The Raffles Maldives Meradhoo offers a barefoot and casual luxury without being pretentious and snobby. The property encompasses the true island vibe of the Maldives. You can engage in activities such as diving, snorkelling, fishing, boat charters and other water sports, or simply find a quiet hammock to relax with a good book.
Experience complete relaxation and rejuvenation in the overwater spa where there is a choice of wellness treatments which combine the power of nature with ancient rituals to heal, soothe, nourish and uplift. For those guests who like to keep up the exercise routine, you will find a high-quality, well-equipped fitness centre, a garden jogging track, outdoor pool and clean, calm lagoon to keep up your regular fitness routine in the fresh, open air.
Guest have the service of a butler, a discreet yet dedicated helper always there to assist with arrangements and to ensure that you are getting the most out of your stay. From arranging diving trips and private dining experiences to delivering ice cold champagne to you as you watch the sun dip below the endless horizon, they are there for you.
The Rooms

While the property does have land-based rooms in the form of Beach Villas with private plunge pool, the appeal of the Raffles Maldives is the Over Water Villas. Separate to the main island, in an overwater village by itself are these superb villas. In what can only be described as true elegance meeting nature, every part of the villa has some sort of connection to the ocean that moved below. A private plunge pool reaches out over the water with multiple seating areas including an overwater hammock. The large deck area offers an open-air amphitheatre to the ocean’s performance which welcomes an encore with the setting sun.
Inside the villa, nothing has been left to want for. A fully stocked mini bar, which is void of plastics, is replenished daily. Taking centre stage in the villa, the bedroom looks out to the ocean with floor to ceiling glass doors. The bathroom also encompasses luxury in the ocean surroundings. A free-standing bath looks out to the horizon next to a shower with floor to ceiling windows. There is no need to worry for privacy, with only passing fish able to see in.
If you really want to spoil yourself with the ultimate in panoramic sanctuary, there is the Overwater Residence with Pool.

Dining at Raffles Maldives Meradhoo is just as divine as its location. Take your breakfast floating on your private plunge pool, snack on lunch at the legendary Long Bar or savour a South American and Japanese fusion at Yapa Bar as the sun sets.
